Business Discovery · United Kingdom
Where is your business quietly losing money and capacity?
Costs rise, teams stay busy and output does not keep up. We follow operational and financial evidence to find where time, money, quality and capacity are being lost — then rank the changes worth making.
From £7,500 · Fixed fee after scoping
This is for you if
- Headcount and overtime are growing faster than output
- Backlogs, errors or repeat work keep consuming capacity
- Customer delays, refunds or repeat enquiries are increasing
- Revenue looks healthy but margins do not
- Work is duplicated between teams or never reaches an invoice
- Software costs and recurring commitments keep accumulating

A decision-ready audit package you can act on without us.
You receive a decision-ready evidence pack, written audit report and live interactive findings presentation. Conclusions, calculations and recommendations are linked to evidence and can be challenged during the readout. Implementation remains optional.
Not for: Pre-revenue businesses, or anyone who wants a bookkeeping review — this looks at where value escapes, not at whether the books are correct.
- 01Quantified leakage points, largest first, with the evidence for each
- 02An estimate of annualised recovery for each one
- 03Intervention options ranked by expected value, effort, dependencies and risk
- 04A short list of the changes worth making first
Six stages, with clear decision boundaries.

Your business, your data
Human-led, AI-assisted and evidence-controlled. Recording, attribution, access, providers and retention need to be agreed before evidence is shared.
Confidentiality as standard
An NDA before any commercially sensitive material changes hands, signed from our side without being asked.
Data minimisation
We ask for what a stated question requires and nothing more. Where anonymised or extracted data will do, we use that.
Your data stays yours
Client information is used for the agreed purpose, with retention and return or deletion set out before processing begins. Reuse beyond delivery, including any proposed model training, needs separate assessment and the applicable legal and contractual permissions.
One named point of contact
You deal with the person doing the work. No account manager between you and the findings.
Clear rights, protected evidence
Your final report, recommendations and approved client-safe evidence pack are yours to use within the rights set out in the engagement. Sensitive source evidence remains subject to agreed access and retention controls. Underlying methodology, software and analytical systems remain proprietary to their existing rights holders.
Straight talk about your people
Discovery examines how work happens; it is not an employee-performance assessment. Interview attribution and access to sensitive accounts are agreed before evidence is gathered.
What people ask before they commit.
- Is this an audit?
- It is an operational and commercial investigation, not a statutory financial audit or a check that your accounts are correct. The audit package traces where time, money and capacity are lost and sets out the evidence for each finding.
- Do you need access to our accounts?
- We agree access during scoping. Evidence may include workload, staffing, processing times, backlogs, quotes, invoices and recurring costs. Extracts are often sufficient instead of full system access. An NDA comes before commercially sensitive material is shared.
- What if you do not find anything?
- That is a real possible outcome and we say so up front. Small percentage losses can become material at sufficient volume, but we will not promise a return before the evidence supports one.
- How is recovery estimated?
- From your own numbers, stated as an annualised figure with the assumptions shown. Where a figure rests on an assumption rather than firm evidence, it is labelled as one so you know which findings to trust with a budget.
- Will this turn into a pricing exercise?
- Pricing may be one finding, alongside workflow, capacity and systems issues. We assess the effort and risks of changing prices, including customer impact; we do not assume a correction is free to implement.
- How long does it take?
- Usually two to four weeks. Businesses with several revenue lines or job types take longer, and the proposal names the date and the fixed price before you commit.
