Business Discovery · United Kingdom
If you rebuilt your operation using today’s technology, what would you change?
For an organisation that needs to operate differently. We investigate an agreed scope across teams, workflows, systems and economics, then build a prioritised roadmap showing what should change, why and in what order.
From £12,500 · Fixed fee after scoping
This is for you if
- The business has outgrown how it is run, and it shows in different places each month
- Several change projects are competing and none is clearly first
- Succession, sale, funding or a step-change in size is on the horizon
- Systems have accumulated rather than been chosen
- Growth is available but the operation could not currently absorb it

Evidence, gathered where the work actually happens.
How the operation works now, end to end, and where it breaks under growth
The gap between the current operation and the stated direction
Which changes unlock others, and which are expensive dead ends
Capability and capacity — people, process and systems together
What sequence carries the least risk for the return available
A decision-ready audit package you can act on without us.
You receive a decision-ready evidence pack, written audit report and live interactive findings presentation. Conclusions, calculations and recommendations are linked to evidence and can be challenged during the readout. Implementation remains optional.
Not for: A request for implementation alone, or a review without access to the people and evidence needed to test the proposed changes.

- 03A sequenced set of changes, with dependencies made explicit
- 04The case for each — cost, effort, risk and expected effect
- 05An honest view of what should be left alone

- How many people need to be interviewed or observed
Your business, your data
Human-led, AI-assisted and evidence-controlled. Recording, attribution, access, providers and retention need to be agreed before evidence is shared.
Confidentiality as standard
An NDA before any commercially sensitive material changes hands, signed from our side without being asked.
Data minimisation
We ask for what a stated question requires and nothing more. Where anonymised or extracted data will do, we use that.
Your data stays yours
Client information is used for the agreed purpose, with retention and return or deletion set out before processing begins. Reuse beyond delivery, including any proposed model training, needs separate assessment and the applicable legal and contractual permissions.
One named point of contact
You deal with the person doing the work. No account manager between you and the findings.
Clear rights, protected evidence
Your final report, recommendations and approved client-safe evidence pack are yours to use within the rights set out in the engagement. Sensitive source evidence remains subject to agreed access and retention controls. Underlying methodology, software and analytical systems remain proprietary to their existing rights holders.
Straight talk about your people
Discovery examines how work happens; it is not an employee-performance assessment. Interview attribution and access to sensitive accounts are agreed before evidence is gathered.
What people ask before they commit.
- Is this a strategy document?
- You receive a prioritised roadmap supported by an evidence pack, written report and interactive findings presentation. It sets out changes, dependencies, cost assumptions and the parts of the operation best left alone.
- We have change projects already competing. Does this help?
- That is one of the clearest reasons to run it. The output sequences them by which unlocks others and which are expensive dead ends, so the argument stops being about whose project matters most.
- How much of our time will this take?
- The proposal specifies the operating scope, timeline and time needed from each team before you commit. This can involve several leaders and workflows; it is not a promise to investigate every part of an organisation for the starting fee.
- We are heading towards a sale or succession. Is that a fit?
- Yes — it is a strong reason to consider this engagement. A written, evidenced account of how the business actually operates can support the decisions required before a sale, succession, funding round or leadership transition.
- Will you recommend a large technology programme?
- Only if the evidence supports it. A deleted process step, system integration or revised commercial decision may create more value than a large technology programme. AI is recommended only where it earns its place.
- Do we have to act on all of it?
- No. It is sequenced precisely so you can take the first change and stop, or take none. The engagement ends with a decision that is yours.
